Christmas is a beautiful time of year at Pleasant Valley Greenhouse & Nursery! Our Christmas Specialty is Poinsettias. We have beautiful, lush, poinsettias in all the designer colors, as well as the traditional deep red. We offer sizes from small poinsettias in 4 1/2" pots all the way up to HUGE Poinsettias that are almost 3 feet across ! And remember you can come out and choose your own,fresh from our greenhouse!!! We also carry a beautiful Selection of Fresh Cut, Locally grown Christmas Trees, and also Fresh Full Evergreen Wreaths and seasonal decorations. Please come and visit us during this beautiful time of year !!

Cyclamen are also a beautiful fall and winter houseplant. They like a cool, bright window location in the home. And they also like to dry out just a bit between waterings. Another hint for caring for Cyclamen is not to water them right down the center of the pot. You will see all the leaves come from a corm in the center of the pot, and that corm will rot if water is allowed to set in the corm every time the plant is watered. So water along the edge of the pot. With proper care they are an easy houseplant to care for that adds some much needed color in your home all winter long !
